PANTOMIME Parfums was established in 2023 by the designer Jeroen Oude Sogtoen. Pantomime searches for opaque clarity through exceptional raw materials and their deconstruction. Pantomime fragrances are created to amplify your memories, stories and emotions.

Centre stage
Synthetic raw materials are as deserving of being center stage as natural ones. They are not a new addition to the perfumer’s palette but very much the foundation of what modern perfumery is today. Synthetic raw materials allow the perfumer to create color and texture while directing light on a specific part of a creation and adding shadows or depth to others, allowing the perfumer to truly paint their own olfactory space, whatever color, shape or texture they please.
PANTOMIME Parfum searches for clarity within depth.
Our approach is for a synthetic raw material to be our lead character – that’s the clarity. By adding in a few well-chosen naturals, we can add the depth. What ties them together is their quality — the highest possible. By playing around with this concept, we can create any stage setting we’d like and then we let you, the consumer, throw yourself right into this world.

Based in Amsterdam, Jeroen Oude Sogtoen is the founder and creative director of ZENOLOGY and PANTOMIME Parfum. Always in search of the true meaning of luxury, Jeroen holds the ability to transform concept into emotions. With PANTOMIME Parfum, he aims to explore the playful pleasures of quality while challenging his creative boundaries with an emphasis on originality and innovation.
A modern age of old-school synthetics
The current fragrance market is full of brands focusing on the beauty of synthetic raw materials. Ingredients like Iso E Super (1973), Ambroxan (1949) and Javanol (1960) are no longer trade secrets but powerful marketing tools. However, the popularity of these synthetics is also their curse — beauty leading to overuse.
A perfumer’s lab is filled with a plethora of fascinating molecules — just waiting for their time to take center stage — and with PANTOMIME Parfum, Ambrettolide HC Supreme (2018), Bisabolene (1960), Methyl Ionone Alpha Extra (1893), Lactone of Cis Jasmone (1973), Vetiverol (1950) and Safraleine do exactly that.

We currently have 6 ACTS. Six sets of scenery. Six places for you to discover. We are taking you to more than a specific location. Each ACT adds an essential dimension with their finely tuned details, mood enhancers and created ambiance.
